I was blown away by the service and flavors. This was an amazing BBQ experience with a Puerto Rican twist. Every single protein and side was so so good, including the pineapple paradise juice. It’s a food truck but they have plenty of benches and it’s all covered. They even came out of truck and checked on us multiple times. I truly appreciated the ambience. They even had the coqui sound playing. Made me feel right at home. I highly recommend and would definitely return.
These guys work incredibly hard to make the best Puerto Rican food every weekend. The best brisket in the city is here at Bucán Rodeo! We got the brisket, chicken, and pernil for our 3 meats. Then arroz, habichuelas, y mofongo for our sides. We also ordered extra tostones.
I'm here routinely for hotdogs/burgers on Tuesday evenings. They have the best hotdogs in San Antonio. They do pop ups around town every now and then and it's always amazing. The bbq that they serve on weekends while not traditional by any means is amazing fusion. The bbq can seem expensive but I routinely split plates and am full or have left overs, even if I didn't it's worth it. You have to try the pork belly and the mufungo my two favorite items on weekends. The staff are super nice and friendly!
